Church services / Gudstjenester
We have two church services on Sundays. The first service is at 11 in the morning and the second at 6 in the evening.
Our church services are about one hour long and consist of some singing, followed by prayer and a sermon. We preach sermons that are practical and help you connect Gods word with your daily life and the challenges daily life give us.
We are an international church and use English as our main language, but we try to blend in more and more Norwegian as we go.
Vi har to gudstjenester på søndager. Den første gudstjenesten er klokken 11 om morgenen og den andre klokken 18 om kvelden.
Våre gudstjenester er omtrent en time lange og består av sang, etterfulgt av bønn og preken. Vi holder prekener som er praktiske og hjelper deg å koble Guds ord med ditt daglige liv og utfordringene hverdagen gir oss.
Vi er en internasjonal kirke og bruker engelsk som hovedspråk, men vi prøver å blande inn mer og mer norsk etter hvert.
Every Wednesday / Hver onsdag
Bible studies / bibelstudier
Every Wednesday evening we come together and sit around the table while we go through the bible to see how it can help us in our live. We look at different topics and have a lot of oppurtinity for people to ask questions. Especially if you are not well known with Christian faith this is a great oppurtinity to learn much about the bible.
Hver onsdag kveld kommer vi sammen og sitter rundt border mens vi går gjennom Bibelen for å se hvordan den kan hjelpe oss i livet vårt. Vi ser på ulike temaer og gir mange muligheter til å stille spørsmål. Spesielt hvis du ikke er godt kjent med kristen tro, er dette en flott mulighet til å lære mye om Bibelen.

Our location / Vårt sted
We have all our activities on the third floor above the Coop Extra Askerholmen just outside Asker Sentrum. Easy to reach with bus or train. We have plenty of parkingplace.
Vi har alle aktiviteter våre i tredje etasje over Coop Extra Askerholmen like utenfor Asker Sentrum. Lett atkomst med buss og tog. Godt med parkeringsplasser utenfor.
About us / Om oss
We are Jan-Loek and Talina Siskens. With our kids we moved to Norway in August 2021 when we were send out from our local church, The Door in Delft Holland. Our church is new in Norway, but are part of Christian Fellowship Ministries. This is an international network of over 4000 churches in over 120 countries. We are a young and energetic church that is enthousiastic about what Jesus did in our lives and we want to share that with the world.
Our goal is to help people build up a relationship with God and find direction and true meaning for their life. We believe this is possible because of what Jesus did for us. He died for us and the power of his resurrection 2000 years ago is the same power that can change us today. We see this working in people who get healed from past trauma or set free from addictions or other problems

What we believe / Hva vi tror
The Door
We are called The Door, because Jesus says that he is the door to God the father. We believe we can go to God not because we are so perfect, but because of what Jesus did for us at the cross.
Saviour
We believe in Jesus as our saviour. He came to this earth to rescue us. We need to be saved from sin, the egoism that is destroying us from within. We can't do that ourselves, we need him.
Holy Ghost
We believe in the Holy Ghost. It is God working in our lives. Just like the wind, we can't see it, but we can see the effect. He gives power, healing, comfort and inspiration. We are a pentecostal church.
Connect
We believe in church services, because we are like a battery, we run out of energy. We need to come to together to get new energy and direction from God.
Bible
We believe the bible is the word of God. Some say it is outdated, but we see it as a great guide for how to have the best live possible today.
People
We believe in people. Every one is unique. We believe that God has a plan with every person indepent of their abilities or background.
